If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Solutions Engineering Intern with our Americas Instrumentation and Controls Systems team.

Your Day-to-Day:



  • As part of a focused team, drive business development and growth for Instrumentation and Control Systems in the Safety Systems and Setpoints portfolio.
  • Support various aspects of proposal development including project schedule development, cost buildup, risk identification, vendor quotes, and writing technical descriptions.
  • Collaborate with internal groups such as Account Teams, Engineering organizations and Commercial Integration to develop successful solutions and offerings for customers.
  • Participate in developing unique solutions to address customer needs and provide competitive offers.
  • Support proposal development for products including scope definition and organizing input from multi-disciplinary groups.
  • Participate in technical meetings with customers
  • Support the Americas I&C group with automation of internal tools.


Who You Are:



  • Pursuing bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge in one or more areas the following areas.

    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Basic software coding (ex. VBA)


  • High-quality presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to foster alignments between internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated and attention to detail and precision is critical.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple project tasks to meet simultaneous deadlines.
