About the Role:

As a Business Development Representative for our Behavioral Health team, you will play a pivotal role in increasing awareness and access to our comprehensive behavioral health services. You will focus on building and nurturing strong relationships with primary care physicians, healthcare providers, and other community stakeholders, helping us expand our impact and reach.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Build and maintain relationships with primary care physicians, specialists, hospitals, and community organizations to promote our behavioral health services.
  • Educate stakeholders about our adult and specialized behavioral health programs, including mental health, substance use, and crisis intervention services.
  • Increase awareness and drive referrals to our agency by sharing valuable resources and information.
  • Represent the agency at local events, community meetings, and health fairs to broaden outreach.
  • Collaborate closely with our internal teams to align on goals and messaging.


Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or community outreach, ideally within the healthcare or behavioral health field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a variety of professionals and community members.
  • Passion for improving access to behavioral health services and supporting those in need.
  • Ability to work in-person and actively engage with community partners.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple relationships simultaneously.
  • A positive, goal-oriented mindset and a team-player approach.

  • The essential functions of this job include the following physical and intellectual demands:

  • Due to the nature of the industry, working in the evenings, approximately 7:30-8:00 pm, may be expected.

Our Thrive clinicians take a proactive approach to treatment by meeting with clients in neighborhoods, homes, and schools to reduce the barriers of traditional mental health treatment. Thrive also has clinic-based programs in Rosedale, Catonsville, Millersville, and Silver Spring and Bel Air.
