We are currently seeking a Senior Interoperability Project Manager to join our team in Albany, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

The Senior Interoperability Project Manager is a member of the NTT DATA Quality Assurance team that provides planning, organizing, and managing oversight and direction to achieve specific goals. The Senior Interoperability Project Manager works at the direction of the State Project Director and NTT DATA Project Manager.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing, coordinating, and reporting on Medicaid interoperability projects and workstreams of varying complexity over the full life cycle of this program, from origination through closeout in accordance with the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and/or New York State (NYS) project management guidelines and project governance, as applicable
  • Managing a project team with minimal guidance and oversight
  • Monitoring of vendor activities, including procurements, implementation, change management and operational oversight
  • Developing and managing plans and schedules to ensure on-time completion of projects
  • Developing and managing a communication plan to effectively communicate program information and status across multiple audiences, including the Medicaid executive leadership, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Facilitating decision-making with the client and leadership
  • Monitoring and controlling scope, schedule, budget, and resources to meet project objectives and commitments
  • Identifying, developing, and maintaining positive relationships with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders and ability to influence matrixed resources
  • Proactively identifying, documenting and resolving issues and risks with project team and escalating appropriately
  • Providing regular status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans and issues to project team members and senior management
  • Develop customer deliverables in accordance with contract requirements and company documentation standards

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, healthcare or management field or a minimum 13 years of relevant working experience
  • Minimum of 8 years working as a part of a large cross-functional project teams on multiple simultaneous work streams in either a Busienss Analyst, Project Manager or technical role. Experience should inincludei:
    • Experience leading complex projects/programs with significant executive and stakeholder involvement and visibility
  • A minimum of one certification in Project Management Principles such asPMP, CSM, Six Sigma, Scrum Master, ITIL, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with an MMIS, Data Warehouse, eligibility, or large healthcare systems, or a state agency IT project environment
  • 50% on-site requirement in Albany, NY.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands on experience with healthcare standards, such as FHIR and APIs

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $89,032- $120,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
