Job ID: 39440 | Location: Louisville, Kentucky, USA The Industrial Maintenance Technician role encompasses many responsibilities, including maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in supporting the plant maintenance strategy. This job requires strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems. The primary emphasis is on ensuring safety and implementing preventive maintenance measures for production equipment to align with the site's business goals and objectives. This position often requires independent work or collaboration with production operators. The position will support the Catalyst Division at our PPCAT Plant in Louisville, KY. The works schedule for this position will be from "6pm-6am 3 on 2 off 2 on 2 off rotating schedule or 3pm - 11pm Monday - Friday". We offer a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus after 4 months of employment! Responsibilities
- You will ensure compliance with local legal regulations and Clariant safety and environmental policies.
- Participate in risk analysis and implement corresponding action items.
- Optimize the execution of maintenance activities for time, quality, and cost.
- Ensure SAMACO items, including PSM and LDAR, are completed per work order.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain company assets, inspecting for quality standards.
- Participate in daily performance meetings and team discussions.
- Ensure job-related qualifications and safety training are current.
- Support maintenance of all technical plant documentation.
- Ensure proper utilization of Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Improve equipment reliability and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- You should have at least 6 plus years experience in Industrial Maintenance
- We would like for candidate to be skilled in Microsoft Office, SAP, & Outlook (some ERP experience)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, schematics, drawings.
- Must be capable of using everyday shop tools, Micrometers, Torque wrenches, Calipers, drills, saws, Meters, etc.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- You must have a willingness to work flexible hours.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial equipment electrical/Mechanical systems.
- Possess mechanical knowledge of Pneumatic/Hydraulic operated equipment, Precision shaft alignment,
- Basic understanding of rotating equipment and power transmission.
