Job Title: Sr. SharePoint Development Engineer
Work Location: Hybrid (occasional Travel to DC area)
Clearance Required: Secret

We are seeking a qualified Sr. SharePoint Development Engineer to help modernize our O365/SharePoint environment. You will focus on the design, customization and optimization of digital workplace solutions, particularly focused on Microsoft O365 and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as Microsoft Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME), with technical expertise including system architecture, solution design, system configuration, and security management
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Developers and the O&M team to deliver successful Office 365 projects
  • Perform requirements-gathering, working closely with the client to translate these current and future processes into business requirements
  • Using SharePoint Designer and PowerApps / Power Automate (M365 Suite of Products) to create custom workflow solutions.
  • Perform solution design and wire framing
  • Create Modern SharePoint sites, with knowledge of the available SharePoint components
  • Assess and propose streamlines forms and workflows
  • Responsible for installation and configuration of data gateways
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing
  • Drive Microsoft Power Platform implementations through all project phases including discovery, definition, build, test, and deploy
  • Help design the system architecture process, in partnership with the Development Team, to create, define specifications for and implement customizations for any custom code or data migration requirements using SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Create and maintain design and knowledge transfer documentation
  • Ensure high quality, low-code, bug-free development as per the coding standards in close collaboration and interaction with other members of the development/QA team.
  • Work with the support team to resolve production support issues.


Required Qualifications:



  • Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or a similar program


  • Experience/Skills:

    • Must be a U.S Citizen and be able to get security clearance
    • At least 5 years of experience in developing and delivering applications on Microsoft's low-code no-code platform.
    • At least 10-15 years of experience in the design, development, and delivery of applications.
    • Experience with Office 365 tools including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power Automate (Flow)
    • Knowledge of working experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, C#, REST API, PowerShell, HTML/CSS, GitHub, Microsoft Azure, SharePoint Designer, Office 365 Integration and SQL Server
    • Skillful in highly functional UI/UX design processes to include testing and debugging capabilities.
    • Hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer to include both on-premises and SharePoint Online
    • Knowledge of building websites in WordPress
    • Full-stack developer that can develop the front-end and back-end of a website
    • Experience with RESTful web services
    • SharePoint Online, Graph API, Automated deployments, PowerShell, SQL
    • The candidate will have excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management. The candidate should have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality and detail




    Preferred Qualifications:



    • Secret Clearance
    • Federal Government IT delivery Experience



    Salary and Benefit Information:

    The likely salary range for this position is $65,000-$145,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
