Lubbock Project/Senior Architect - Engineering & Construction 39515BR Ops Div Construction Position Description Performs complex professional and administrative architectural and engineering duties; responsible for execution to completion of major architectural projects at TTU and TTUHSC. Major/Essential Functions CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT: Initiate the development of research construction contracts and the corresponding purchase orders. Conduct regular research construction progress meetings and site visits to monitor research construction progress and adherence to construction documents. Develop design solutions for unforeseen site conditions that conflict with the architectural design. Keep track of all project expenses to ensure budget adherence. Review and process contractors' Pay Applications. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; five years specifically related experience. An advanced degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications
