HealthPartners is hiring for a full-time Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist III.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

High School graduate

Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training

Registered Technologist in Electroencephalography by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists, Inc. (ABRET), and/or registry by the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AAET)

A minimum of 5 years experience in Neurodiagnostics

Experienced in all three modalities of Electroencephalography, Evoked Potentials and Nerve Conduction Studies with high quality results in the laboratory

PREFERRED:

At least 2 years of college is preferable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

None

POSITION PURPOSE:

Service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees. Teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members. Perform a wide variety of neurodiagnostic studies to include Electroencephalograms, Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conduction Studies and specialized studies in the laboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Perform all the duties of the Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist II (see Tech II description).

Perform all three modalities of Electroencephalography, Evoked Potentials and Nerve Conduction Studies with high quality results in the laboratory.

Perform advanced Electroencephalograph / Evoked Potential recordings and/or Nerve Conduction Studies during special studies.

Assist or perform clinical research studies.

Participate in conferences and technical meetings. Assist junior staff members.

Assist in establishing and maintaining department procedures and protocols.

Perform other duties as assigned.
