Substance Use Disorder Oper The following positions within Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatry, Inpatient Adult Psychiatry, Psychiatric Emergency Services, CARES, and Outpatient Behavioral Health Services are offering the opportunity to enroll in a new program offering a cash incentive to recognize your work treating patients with substance use disorders. This program is sponsored through the ACCESS (Advancing Careers, Competencies, and Equity in Substance Treatment Services) grant. Employees must be >0.6 FTE to be eligible. 50% of the bonus will be received 90 days after signing the program contract.

* Registered Nurses (RNs) may earn up to $7,500 by December 2024
* Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) may earn up to $3,500 by December 2024
* Care Navigators may earn up to $3,500 by December 2024

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, maintains inventory in specialty areas by places orders for special supplies not carried in Central Supply, monitors backorders and quantities on order, reports supply issues to the appropriate Central Supply Coordinator, and Purchasing. Replenish inventory in the specialty areas, organize and rotate supplies.

Essential Functions:

  • Creates orders for specialty supplies on nursing units and specialty areas. Monitors backorder reports for selected areas and reports issues to the appropriate Central Supply Coordinator and Purchasing. Creates the Central Supply stocking order in the absence of the Inventory Coordinator. Receives orders in Infor when appropriate. (30%)
  • When assigned, orders, restocks, and cycle counts Synthes implants in the Sterile Processing department. (20%)
  • Places orders and stock all the ambulatory care centers. Uses company vehicle to travel to each location. (20%)
  • Provides excellent customer service while assisting customers both in person and on the phone. Provide guidance for these customers regarding their supply and equipment needs. (10%)
  • Stocks specialty areas assigned. Performs cycle counts in assigned areas. Rotates inventory and performs expired checks. Assists with relabeling supply carts. (20%)

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years in a supply tech role required.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Must have mathematical and organizational abilities.
    • Good written and oral communication skills.
    • Must be detail oriented and able to problem solve minor issues.
    • Able to work in and around a busy setting.
    • Good leadership skills.
    • Ability to think critically, and prioritize tasks based on circumstances.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
