Job Overview:

The Aro Business Unit has an opportunity for a Sales Enablement Manager, Advanced Applications & Systems and will report to the Sales Enablement Leader, North America. The Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for developing & implementing sales enablement strategies and channel specific content, campaigns and programs to drive awareness, education, preference and intent for assigned ARO products and aftermarket services. They will provide sales teams and channel partners with sales qualified leads and approaches to effectively engage, identify value and close win new deals. This role is key to the organization because you will be charged with leading the development of strategies, tools, and processes necessary for our sales team and channel partners to succeed in the marketplace. A successful candidate will gather insights and work collaboratively with cross functional teams in order to execute initiatives that improve upon the existing sales processes and deliver on orders and margin goals. Your work will directly influence our customer experience and business results.

Responsibilities:


  • Growth Program Strategy: Design, deploy and manage targeted promotional campaigns or programs aimed at improving performance in end-markets and/or channel partner behavior and attainment. This includes partnering with marketing and product management to develop regional content to communicate ARO value proposition at target markets. Provide hands-on feedback to internal teams, sharing insights on trends, competition, economics, and other factors to help identify and prioritize strategic opportunities.

  • NPD Commercialization Owner: Develop and execute against detailed launch plans, whilst working in close collaboration with marketing, product management, and engineering to ensure sales effectiveness, adoption, and excitement for new products and solutions offerings.

  • NPD Pipeline: Stay informed on new technology and application trends within the market. Recognizes accretive business opportunities and make recommendations to the business on new products or services.

  • Product Support Leadership: Utilizing technical and commercial expertise to support product configuration, quotations and securing orders for new projects aligned with company margin expectations. Provide project management for identified opportunities/ orders to ensure compliance to quality, delivery and performance metrics.

  • Demand Planning: Lead demand planning for assigned products by utilizing analytical, marketing, and sales data to estimate future product demands. Collaborate cross functionally to communicate and align on sales, inventory and operational plan (SIOP) to support forecast while communicating risks and developing activities to help mitigate the risk and implement solutions that improve demand forecasts.




Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business with equivalent experience in technical sales
* 5+ years of experience with Positive Displacement pump applications, technical pump sales, and working for a manufacturer or distributor. Equivalent B2B marketing and/or sales experience considered.
* Advanced understanding of pumps, auxiliary components, construction, hydraulics, and application of our products.
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite of software/applications.

* Technical/Mechanical Acumen: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, product technical literature, construction plans/drawings, commercial terms and conditions, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from internal or external customers or suppliers. Ability to write technical and commercial documents that conform to prescribed style and format.
* Complex Problem Solving: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems.
* Technical Sales: Uses technical knowledge to assess the potential application of company products, recommending solutions that meet customer needs, and advance the sales process.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

This position is onsite in Bryan, OH with up to 50% travel as needed for customer training and sales support.
